I plugged in the blender today, just to check one more time if we ought to throw it away before we move to Michigan. (It had stopped working one Sunday.)

It worked.

Maybe the trick to fixing electrical devices is just to wait a few weeks. I wonder how much money I could charge for that.

Incidentally, we're hoping that trick will work with Kevin's laptop screen.
