So, unless you've been sequestered in Seattle or Santa Barbara, you've probably noticed that this summer has been hot. Really hot, in some places. There have also been a lot of fires. During June, it felt like the whole state of Utah was burning up. It reminded me of 2000, which was the last time I remember that we even came close to having this many fires. In fact, some say that this is the worst drought since 1988, which was the year of the big Yellowstone fires.
So what do the summers of 1988, 2000, and 2012 have in common?
They're all contained within the Year of the Dragon.
Coincidence? I think not!
